Internal Audit Organization and Operations

  • The Audit Office of DIGIMAX INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS LTD. operates as an independent unit under the Board of Directors, with one full-time audit personnel. The appointment and dismissal of the company’s internal audit supervisor must be approved by the Board of Directors.
  • Purpose of Internal Audit
  • The primary objective of internal audits is to examine and review the effectiveness of the internal control system, assess operational efficiency and effectiveness, ensure the reliability, timeliness, and transparency of reporting, and verify compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Audit Office provides timely recommendations for improvement to ensure the continuous and effective implementation of various systems. The scope of audits covers all company departments, operations, and subsidiaries.
  • Audit Planning and Execution
  • The Audit Office formulates the annual audit plan based on relevant regulatory requirements and the company’s operational needs. The plan is approved by the Board of Directors, and audits are conducted accordingly. Additionally, ad hoc internal audits and special audits are performed as needed. Through regular and project-based audits, internal audits provide objective assessments and insights on the internal control system for management, offering an additional channel for identifying existing or potential control weaknesses and allowing timely corrective actions.
  • Review and Reporting
  • The Audit Office reviews self-assessment reports conducted by company departments and subsidiaries. These reports, along with audit reports and follow-up improvements, serve as the primary basis for the Board of Directors and the CEO to issue the Internal Control System Statement.
  • The Head of Internal Audit attends regular Board meetings to present audit reports.
